SEASON OF LOVE.

Love is a language that everybody knows. It makes no difference in the heart of the young or old. It is like a river through your soul. It is a common saying that love can make a wise man look like a fool and it can make a broken heart brand new. There was a girl that was telling me that there was nothing like love while some set of people believe that you can only develop love, you can`t just love for no cause. I went to a girl`s house with a friend and she was narrating a scenario that occurred in their church during a church service. Their pastor told them to tell their neighbour that...I LOVE YOU. The girl said that she was sitting beside a guy who immediately made the statement as if he had a motive in mind. The girl refused to reply the guy because she believed that she cannot love someone she had not met before. What came to my mind was that many had not really understood the concept of the word...LOVE. Love is a very powerful word that does not really count by the mere word expression but by action. God created us in His own image but man went astray but because of His love for us, He redeemed us from destruction by sending His Son; Jesus Christ to die for us and take away our iniquities. What kind of love can be as powerful as that. That is why, He always emphasizes that if you love me, you will do my commandments. We always claim that we love God by our vocal expressions but from our actions, we don`t love God cos we don`t really do His will. The love that He had for us made our sins to be covered. A clear commandment that God has given us as long as we are on earth is to love one another whether good or bad. The greatest commandment that was given by Jesus was for us to love God and our neighbours as ourselves. Nowadays, we limit our love to the people that we know and people that are of great benefit to us. Love does not know whether you are rich or poor, black or white, tall or short etc. God is love. The reason for strife in different places today is due to absence of genuine love which is God. At this point, I will like to ask the married ones this simple question...Do you really love your spouse? This has a lot to do with unconditional love. Love not due to the benefit one is acquiring from the other person. Love needs to exist in every sphere of life for peaceful co-existence to occur. Many of us feel emotional action is an act of love. Some of us mistake lust for love. It is important for us to change our mindset that saying that you love someone does not mean you are lusting after such person. Let us try to love everyone that comes our way. It is not only by statement but by action. Are you lonely, depressed, frustrated, messed-up, battered etc...why not fall into the arms of love. The love that heals, the love that makes broken heart brand new is God`s love. It is not traded for anything as it requires one to just try and be in it and you will never remain the same once you have tasted it. Love your families, friends and foes. Let us try and be in the business of making and not breaking. God loves you and I DO TO. Selah!

LIGHT OF LIFE.

It was observed that in a dark room where there is no source of light...when exposed to a little beam of light, darkness disappear along the path of the beam of light but darkness is still prominent in the room. The more the exposure to the source of light, the more the disappearance of darkness in the room. At a point, the light will be everywhere around the room. At this point, there exist no darkness. Many people like to stay in places where there is light because it makes them to see clearly unlike in darkness where everything is dull and stressful. In Genesis 1*3, when God created the earth...darkness was upon the face of the deep. Before he could proceed, He had to see the earth and that was why He said...LET THERE BE LIGHT and there was light. I want you to know that God told us that we should arise and shine for our light has come but many of us have not risen up not to talk of shinning because we have not seen the light. I want you to know that the light is here with us but we are ignorant of it. The reason for not knowing that the light has come is due to the darkness that encompasses or encloses us. Some of us know that the light has come but we only let it shine in a small amount in our lives. The light came to the world years ago to die on the cross for our sins and since then, darkness has been taken away. The choice is now left for us to reveal it or not. Until you have the light, you cannot shine at all. The Bible says that you are the light of the world. You can only be the light of the world if you have the light of life. God is the light of life. The Bible also says that the Lord is my light and my salvation. God is also the Light and there is no darkness in Him at all. This shows that you cannot be saying that you are with God and still be walking in darkness. Many people are in the habit of doing this as they think that they are smart. Walking in the light means knowing God as your Light and walking in His Light. The Bible also states clearly that...In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. We know that God is light meaning that God as a light is also the word. The word of God is a light which bring about illumination. The Bible also states that John the Baptist came to the scene to testify about the true light who gives light to every man that comes to the world. The light was in the world and the world was made by Him but the world knew Him not. He even came to His own people and His people did not receive Him. The true light is the Son of the Most High and He is still available if you want to receive Him in order to avoid darkness that is endless. After having the Light, you will now become the light of the world because there will be no darkness again such that you can now walk as the children of light who are called out of darkness. The essence of light in your life is to make you shine and before you can shine, you need direction...illumination to see. The Bible states clearly that...They word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. Let us take time to study the word of God which is the light of life. The Bible also states that...The entrance of thy word gives light and understanding to the simple. When you have the light(which is God), He will rise upon you and His glory shall be seen upon you which will cause all men, even kings to favour you and contribute to your rising and shinning. God has promised that once you receive His light, He will be your everlasting light and your days of mourning and sorrows will end.

THE RACE OF LIFE.

Life is a game of soccer. you have got your fans. Who cheer you up. When the going gets tough. And you`ve got the spectators. Who sit back to watch. But stand to criticize. Your every move. They`ve got all the soccer skills. The race is not to the swift. Nor the battle to the strong...

THROUGH LIFE`S PATH.

Through life`s path. They walked. Moaning and grumbling. Not wanting to believe. They had an inheritance. Through life`s path. They walked. Moaning and grumbling. Not wanting to believe. They had an inheritance. The serpent came. The serpent struck. But their cries reached Him. And He hung a Saviour. That anyone who gazed. At the bronze lived. Through life`s path. We walk. Moaning and grumbling. Our eyes fixed on earhly things. The serpent came. The serpent struck. And our cries have reached Him. He hangs a Saviour for us everyday. That everyone who looks to the Son. And believes in Him shall have eternal life and He will raise him up at the last day.

RIVER OF LIFE.

From the throne of God. A river flows. Through you, through me. To others. Its pure sprinkling water. Quenches the thirst of the needy. But not until we nurture it. And keep it clear of debris. Is the water flowing through you. Still pure enough. For others to drink from?

CHRISTIANS.

Christians. Like candle lit in the dark. Propagate the light of Christ. To the ends of this dark world. The wind blows. The flames dance. The wind stops. Some flames die. Real Christians. Like candles after a storm. Still propagate the light of Christ. Unquenched, undiluted. To the ends of the dark world.
