IT`S A BRAND NEW YEAR FOR YOU.

"Behold the former things have come to pass and new things I now declare;before they spring forth,I tell you of them"...Isaiah 42:9 This is what the LORD says,He who made a way through the sea,a path through the mighty water,who drew out the chariots and horses,the army and reinforcements together,and lay there,never to rise again,extinguished,snuffed out like a wick.Forget the former things;do not dwell on the past,see,I am doing a new thing! Now it shall spring up,do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honour me,the jackals and the owls,because I provide water in the desert and streams in the wasteland,to give drink to my people,my chosen,the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise"...Isaiah 43:16-21. Dearly Beloved, It is a great privilege for me to be alive today to send my first article in the new year 2013. I also thank God Almighty for sparing your life and counting you worthy to be among those that will witness the dawning of the new year 2013 to receive my first mail. It is my prayer that this year will bring all that you have long desired your way. In my few years of existing on life,I have observed that people generally start a year like this with two major kinds of mindset and more often than not,these mindsets determine what the year will eventually deliver/hand over to them. Some people start a year like this with a success mindset/mentality probably because:they succeeded the previous year and feel it is worthwhile to go on succeeding the more or they failed the previous year and they feel it is time to open a fresh page of success in a fresh year like this. On the other side of the coin,some people start a year like this with a failure mindset/mentality probably because:they failed in the previous year and came with the conclusion that they can never succeed again or that they succeeded the previous year and thought there is no reason to crave for more success again. This article was inspired to minister to the set of people with the above-mentioned mindsets. In the scriptural text written above,God is saying to these set of people to totally forget the former/old/past things/events. To forget means to discard,delete,erase,throw away etc. To forget the former things/events and not dwell on the happenings of the past means to discard/delete/erase/throw away our past failures and successes because God is set to do a new thing. The text is saying that our past successes and failures have a way of stopping God from doing the new things that He intends for us. The new things that God has in store for us are far better than our old failures/successes and it takes our perception/ability to see them to claim them from God. It is God`s intention of taking His people from one level of glory,beauty,honour,dignity and splendour to another level in a new year like this. It is God`s desire to show His people greater and better pictures of His plans for their lives so that their destinies can be fufilled in a grand style even in a new year like this. It is God`s will for His people to look forward to better conditions of living in a new year like this. It is God`s joy for His people to be expectant of His amazing visitations in a new year like this. It is God`s pleasure for His people not to be wholly contended with LITTLE because they can have much more than they had altogether in the previous years. It is God`s wish that His people will enlarge the scope of their visions in order to make room,space and place for what He has in mind for them in a new year like this. It is God`s longing for His people not to be utterly carried away by yesterday`s successes as yesterday`s successes are today`s failures rather,they should break new grounds in those areas of success so as to accommodate more and it is also God`s yearning that His people should not be totally cast down by past failures and disappointments rather,they should look beyond them to see the great possibilities that lies ahead of them as there is always a light shining at the end of every tunnel. God`s intentions,desires,will,joy,pleasures,wishes,longings, and yearnings for us will become a reality if we can see and picture them vividly via perception. Perception talks about seeing what God has promised us from the mirror of His word. If any man will see and picture clearly all that God has said concerning him/her in a year like this,nothing can stop such a person from having whatsoever he/she has seen. God has a compendium of stainless records of His faithfulness to His people in ages past and that is the reason for His admonition to you to keep your eyes focussed on Him so that He can do for you what He did for those people in ages past. It was in a new year like this that God gave Abraham a son at an old age when he kept his eyes focussed on God and His spoken word. It was in a new year like this that God gave Isaac a major breakthrough in his life even in a foreign/famished land at Gerar when he kept his eyes focussed on God and His spoken word. It was in a new year like this that God gave Jacob an idea that led to his major breakthrough in life at Laban`s Animal Farm when he kept his eyes focussed on God and His spoken word. Countless number of people like Esther,Gideon,David,Solomon just to mention a few got breakthroughs in their lifetime in a new year like this because they focussed their attention on God and His written word. If only we will stay glued to Him and focus all our attention on His spoken/written word of promises unto us,He will create a new beginning of all-round success to replace our previous years of failure. If only we won`t give in to doubts,complaints,mumurings and unbelief which probably resulted from our past failures and also act as limitation to what God can do for us in a new year like this,God will daze and deck us with amazing breakthroughs that will culminate in cycles of tearful testimonies. It is my prayer for you this year that as you stay glued to God and hold on to His written/spoken words which cannot fail that: The nations will see your righteousness and all kings your glory and you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. All your past disappointments will turn around to you for divine appointments. All your plans,desires and visions will receive practical fufilment. You will eat the fruit of your labour and the work of your hand. As trees fluorishes bearing fruits all year round,so will you fluorish in all that you do this year. You will not labour for others to enjoy but you will enjoy all that you labour for. Your LITTLE will become much and your ordinary efforts will produce extra-ordinary results.

Your prayers will receive express answers from Heaven and Gods ears will never be shut to your petitions. You will enjoy the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding in every area of your life. You will be spared from all forms of destructions and calamities that the devil has earmarked for some people this new year. Your goals,dreams,aspirations,desires,ambitions and good intentions will stand the test of time;enduring to benefit generations unborn. You will enjoy Gods love that never fails and preserves from evil consumption. His compassion that fails not and His faithfulness that are new every morning will also be yours in Jesus precious name(Amen). It`s a brand new year for you!
